Go to the harbor any time of day and you will see dogs of all shapes and sizes. Dogs basking in the sun, dogs mingling with other dogs. Dana Point is a mecca for dogs. And what better animal to populate a city than the animal that symbolizes unconditional love.

The dog-friendliness of the city is paralleled by the friendliness of the residents. Take a walk in Heritage Park, where there’s a self-enclosed space for dogs to roam, and you’ll be surrounded by dog owners and their dogs enjoying one of the most picturesque parks in Orange County.

What is your dog’s favorite part of Dana Point?
